This approach shows the true partnership between you, the client (shown in black) and FKP (shown in blue). In this way, FKP supports managerial and scientific teams to diagnose issues, define new or modified processes and implement the necessary changes collectively. FKP guides all participants through this process.
There are 7 strands to identifying a suitable solution:
FKP supports the client to articulate changes required to realize their ideal vision of performance. This strand recognizes the wider needs of the client’s stakeholders and customers, as well as internal performance issues and required improvements. This is the first step to identifying and clarifying the problem.
To understand the existing levels of performance, FKP supports clients to carry out a comprehensive process review. Boundaries are defined to ensure a focus on priority areas for potential intervention. The data gathered in this exercise are analyzed to create the optimal solution.
The cornerstone of success in achieving an appropriate and sustainable solution is the client’s managerial team. FKP will work with and facilitate the managerial team to create a harmonious and focused unit. This team will not only be responsible for the solution but will drive its implementation and create sustainability.
This phase defines the steps necessary to deliver the solution, achieve the client’s vision and integrate with existing improvement activities. The required strategic fit with wider processes, administrative requirements and management of change are all facilitated by FKP here.
Sponsorship from the client’s executives and wider stakeholders is paramount to delivery of a successful and sustainable solution. FKP supports the inspiration and delegatory power of leaders to form the optimal implementation team.
This is the suite of changes, under executive sponsorship, required to transform operational performance from its current state to one that will achieve the vision. It can include lean process re-engineering, automation optimization, supply chain coordination and enhanced reporting frameworks.
Enabling the model leads neatly into the implementation strand and requires momentum to succeed. All people, at all levels, dedicated to delivery are empowered and will lead others to create sustainable change. Successful implementation may require the strength to review and change the model more than once.
FKP’s involvement provides focus on steps 2 through 4 and guides the client to complete all 7 strands.
